The Town Manager, on behalf of the Selectboard, is responsible for day to day operations of the town. The Manager oversees personnel, makes purchases, maintains and supervises town buildings and manages the administrative tasks that are ordinarily dealt with by the Selectboard.

The Manager is also the Road Commissioner (responsible for street, highway, bridge and culvert maintenance), Tax Collector, Delinquent Tax Collector, prepares Town Budgets and supervises spending and accounting for all Departments.

The Manager supervises public safety, solid waste and maintains parks and recreation functions for the Town.
