    We are an active all volunteer organization dedicated to making your stay in Poultney an interesting and rewarding experience.

    Our lively community blends folks whose families have been here for generations with Vermonters by choice, faculty from the Green Mountain College and active retirees.

    • East Poultney Day 2010!

    • Celebrate some of the town’s heritage Saturday, August 14th, on the Green in East Poultney. Century Schoolmaster will conduct class in the 1791 Union Academy, while British Army disturbs the peace with musket fire. Vendors offer crafts, traditional demonstrations, needle arts, slate splitting and candle making. Sponsored by Poultney Historical Society.
