Saturday, March 24th

Pancake Breakfast: Sponsored by the Poultney Downtown Revitalization Committee, the breakfast will be held at The Station restaurant between 8:00-10:00am. Delicious!

5 K Run: Registration starts at 9:00 am at the Poultney Elementary School; at 10:00 am, the Race starts at the School!

Family Games: Sponsored by the Environment Education Class of GMC, interactive family games will be held between 10:00-11:00 am at the Tiny Theatre!

Wagon Rides: Come join in the fun on a horse-drawn wagon ride! Get picked up between Citizen’s Bank and Priscilla’s Sweet Shoppe and take a tour of Main Street! Drops off at The Station. Starting at 11:00am!

Maple Fest Bake Off: Baked goods for judging must be dropped off at 10:00 am in the Poultney Elementary School Gymnasium! Judging will take place at 2:00pm, with three prizes awarded!

Bag Sale on Main Street: This year’s bag sales will be located at the following businesses between 10:00 and 2:00 pm – Original Vermont Store; Williams Hardware; Stitchy Women; with a fantastic 20 % off all non sale items!!

Other Deals around Main Street: Priscilla’s Sweet Shoppe is giving away Two Maple Creams with a $10 purchase; Stone Valley Market will be giving away tasty samples of local food with the theme of “Support Your Local Economy;” Everyday Flowers is offering a great deal to buy a bouquet for $10 and get a free chance to win an Easter Plant!

Silent Auction and Bag Drawing for the children: Located inside the Gym at the Elementary School, this event will be held between 10:00am and 2:00 pm. Winners will be announced at 2:00 pm, but they need not be present.

Artist Guild Open Gallery: This years’ open gallery will be located in the Elementary School!

Family Nature Walk: Join area naturalists John Van Hoesen and Scott McLaclan on this years’ family nature walk! Meet at 2:00pm at Green Mountain College!

Scavenger Hunt: Sponsored by the Senior Girl Scouts, pick up your forms at the Poultney Public Library at 10:00 am and return them by 1:00pm! Winner will be judged by the Scouts!

Farmer’s Market: The farmer’s market will be held in the Gym of the Elementary School between 10:00am and 2:00 pm!

Lunch: Get your food on between 11:00am and 1:00 pm! Located in the Gym of the Elementary School – Soup $2, Salad $2, Drink $1, with dessert supplied by the Maple Fest Bake Off table!

Poultney Rotary Club Community Dinner: Located at GMC in The East Room, the Annual Community Dinner is a great way to catch up with your neighbors and support the youth  of our community! For tickets contact President, Lara Bitter, 287-2577. This event starts at 6:00 pm.

Maple Fest Pork Dinner: Located at the Young at Hearts Senior Center, 206 Furnace Street, Poultney between 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm, join us for a Maple Glazed Ham Dinner! Adults $8, Children $5, call for reservations, 287-9200 or 645-0326 or 518-282-9795
