Come join us for the annual celebration of Vermont’s first seasonal crop, delicious maple syrup. Maple Fest is one of the largest events in Poultney and the Poultney Chamber of Commerce has organized many interesting things to see and do. Through and around Poultney sugar houses will be opening their doors for touring and starting at 10:00am to 2:00p.m. stores on Main Street will be open with featured sales! 11:00a.m. Story Time at Poultney Public Library
Spring is on its way. Soon the animals will come out of hibernation, the sap will begin to run and the spring peepers will sing. Come join Dawn and Rebecca for a special Maple Fest Story Time where we will be reading stories about the wonders of spring in Vermont. We will also sing songs, make a craft, and have a special maple snack. This is a fun, free family program for children of all ages. For more information call 287-5556.
